As expected, The CW is still going all in on their heroes, with the one that started it all, Arrow being renewed for Season 7, The Flash for Season 5, and Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow for Season 4.

Black Lightning

The newest hero on the network’s roster, Black Lightning has been performing well, so it’s no surprise that we’ll be seeing Cress Williams and company return for Season 2.

At this point, it’s no surprise that Supernatural is being renewed, with one of the strongest fanbases in the world carrying them into their 14th season. What may come as a shock to fans, however, is that the cast and crew have hinted that Season 14 may well be their last.

The reboot of the ‘80s classic has enjoyed quiet success, but a success all the same. A story that’s only just begun, like Black Lightning, Dynasty will return for Season 2.

Preparing to enter its sophomore year, this teen drama has performed marginally better than it did in Season 1, securing it a place in The CW’s upcoming schedule.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin

Both series has been confirmed to be returning for Season 4 and Season 5, respectively. However, it has been rumoured that this could be the last seasons of both of the praised US comedies, with Gina Rodriguez referring to the then-potential fifth season last month as “our final season”, whle Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star, Rachel Bloom today tweeting “Just found out that #CrazyExGirlfriend has been renewed for a final season.”

CW President Mark Pedowitz stated, “As The CW expands to a six-night, Sunday-through-Friday schedule next season, we are proud to have such a deep bench of great returning series for 2018-19. By picking these ten series up for next season, we have a terrific selection of programming to choose from when we set our fall schedule in May, with more still to come. And I’m especially happy that we’ll continue to work with the incredibly talented casts, producers, and writers who create the series our fans are so passionate about.”
