Sci-fi drama series Westworld has added a major name to their Season 3 cast, in the form of Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul.
Producers have remained tight-lipped about Paul’s character, but Deadline, who shared the exclusive, have heard that he will be a series regular.
Created for TV by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, Westworld is based on the 1973 film from Michael Crichton. The sci-fi thriller is a dark exploration of the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin through a theme park which simulates a real world.
For his part, Paul seems pretty excited about joining the series, posting this message on his Instagram account, in which he tells fans how “blessed and humbled” he feels to be a part of the show:

“I feel like I am in a dream Dolores. Can you wake me up from this dream”? Feeling blessed and humbled to finally be able to mention this little secret of mine. Thank you Jonah and Lisa and all of the people over at @westworldhbo for allowing me to come play in your park. See you all very soon. #Westworld
