‘Unrecognisable’ is a word thrown around all too often when actors film biopics – however, it’s no exaggeration when it comes to these pictures of Christian Bale on set of the Dick Cheney biopic.
Known for his extreme physical transformations, it’s no surprise to hear that Bale has changed his appearance, and we had our first taste of this particular turn, as Bale made his way around the festival circuit earlier in the year. However, a new batch of photos has hit the internet, and it seems that all traces of Bale are gone – there is only Cheney:

For comparison, this is Dick Cheney:
But, Bale isn’t the only one shocking people with their transformation in this film, as co-star Amy Adams, who will be playing the wife of the politician, Lynne Cheney:

Adam McKay’s film will follow the Dick Cheney “avoiding military service in the Vietnam War, his rise to CEO of the multinational corporation Halliburton and finally becoming what some have called the most powerful U.S. vice president ever to hold office.” And we should probably prepare ourselves for more wild transformations, as the film also has Steve Carrell playing former Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Tyler Perry as the former Secretary of State Colin Powell, Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush, and Alison Pill as Cheney’s daughter, Mary.
