Horror anthology series, Creepshow, has released a terrifying new poster for the upcoming George A. Romero and Stephen King-inspired project from Walking Dead alum, Greg Nicotero.
The poster, designed by artist Tim Bradstreet and executive producer and director Nicotero, has been made to look like an old-school comic book, with a more chilling image to accompany the original 1982 film’s tagline, “The Most Fun You’ll Ever Have Being Scared.”
Back in July, when the series was first announced, Nicotero (who met his effects mentor Tom Savini on a visit to the film’s set, and then went on to work alongside Romero) shared his excitement, “Creepshow is a project very close to my heart! It is one of those titles that embraces the true spirit of horror… thrills and chills celebrated in one of its truest art forms, the comic book come to life! I’m honored to continue the tradition in the ‘spirit’ which it was created.”
Shudder’s Craig Engler added, “Creepshow is one of the most beloved and iconic horror anthologies from two masters of the genre, George A. Romero and Stephen King. We’re thrilled to continue their legacy with another master of horror, Greg Nicotero, as we bring a new Creepshow TV series exclusively to Shudder members.”
Creepshow is slated to launch in 2019.
