Square Enix have announced that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will release to Western audiences in 2018.

Alongside the announcement comes a message from series creator, Yuji Horii, in which he details an overview of the game as well as an update on the games localisation process, stating “There’s quite a lot of text, so it’s an exorbitant amount of work. But we’re doing our best and working hard to get this game to all of you as soon as possible.”

More details on the Western version of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be released this Autumn.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is the upcoming eleventh main series entry in the Dragon Quest video game series, developed and published by Square Enix. It is currently in development for Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
