Margot Robbie has shared the first official image of her in character as Sharon Tate in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino flick, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

The Oscar-nominated actress shared the photo on her Instagram account:

The Manson family cult, who murdered Tate and friends in her home in 1969, serve as a backdrop for Tarantino’s film, which explores Los Angeles, and he entertainment industry at this time in history.

Robbie sports the same long blonde hair that Tate had, and is kitted out in the suitably ‘60s combo of a black turtleneck, white skirt, and a matching pair of bright white shiny go-go boots.

In the film, Tate will be the next door neighbour of the film’s central character, fading TV actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) who – alongside his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) – attempts to rise through the ranks of Hollywood, as Manson’s criminal creation casts a shadow over the south of California.

In June, DiCaprio shared a similar picture of himself and Pitt in character:
