Codemasters and Koch Media have revealed the first gameplay trailer for F1 2017. The “Born to Make History” trailer shows off the updated graphics and gameplay as well as giving a look at what cars are available this year.
F1 2017 boasts a deeper career mode, a brand new “championships” game mode and several multiplayer enhancements. Iconic Classic cars will be available in the game too. These include the 1988 McLaren MP4/4 as driven by Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna, the 1992 Williams FW14B that was raced by Nigel Mansell and Riccardo Patrese, and the 2002 Ferrari F2002 of Rubens Barrichello and Michael Schumacher.
Speaking on how the new cars will handle this year, Lee Mather, Creative Director, says: “We know our fans have loved seeing the classic cars being revealed in the recent weeks, but we know they also want to see the new cars in action as well. The 2017 cars present their own unique challenge as they are incredibly fast but wider and heavier than before, therefore we have had to completely rework the physics system to refine the balance between aerodynamics and tyre grip.”
F1 2017 launches on Ps4, Xbox One and PC on August 25th 2017.
