Brace yourselves, folks. The battle of the decade is on its way as a gnarled hunter, a one-man judge, jury and executioner and a xenomorph alien will go up against each other in what can only be one very bloody battle. Sounds intense.
This summer Dark Horse Comics, 2000AD and IDW will be jointly bringing us Predator vs. Judge Dredd vs. Alien in a 4-part mini-series and it looks set to be just as incredible as every other pairing each of these mighty combatants have faced before.
The nineties were a rough place to be if you were a part of the big two publishers. Sales were low, interest in the new directions stories were going in was marginal and their internal economics were all over the place. What kept fans riveted and wide-eyed were the cross-company crossovers, especially those involving Judge Dredd either going up against Batman, Lobo, the Hulk and Aliens. Predators went head-to-head with…well…nearly everybody: Superman, Magnus (Robot Fighter), the Justice League, Tarzan, Witchblade, even Archie! Archie?! That must have been an enduring battle.
We cannot wait to see how this battle will unfold. Who else would you like to see Judge Dredd, Predator or the Aliens go up against?
