According to American retail site Gamestop a collectors edition of the upcoming PlayStation exclusive God of War game is available to pre-order. And perhaps there is even a release date? The bundle is known as the ‘Stone Mason Edition’. Aside from the game itself the the collectors package will contain a 9″ statue of Kratos and Atreus, a steelbook case, two Huldra brothers carvings, a lithograph, a cloth map, the stone masons ring, two horse and troll carvings, a talking Mimir’s head keychain, the Deaths Vow armour set, Exiles Guardian shield, a God of War digital comic from Dark Horse, a dynamic PS4 theme and for pre ordering you can also get DLC 3 shields and in game XP boosts. The Stone Masons Edition has a price of $149.99 and is available to pre-order now. Also interesting is the estimated June 30th release date. With no official release date as of yet is this a place holder or a leak?

God of War is the newest entry in the award winning franchise. Now in a Nordic setting with reworked camera angles, combat and new enemies. The story of Kratos and his son Atreus will be told exclusively on PlayStation 4 this year. The game sees a marked shift in focus to a more story-driven structure. From the demos released so far it seems that this new instalment will be quite a bit different from its predecessors, with Kratos waxing existentially on his past.

Digital content includes:

  • Defender of the Chosen Shield
  • Death’s Vow Armor Set
  • Exile’s Guardian Shield
  • God of War Digital Comic #0 by Dark Horse
  • God of War Digital Mini Artbook by Dark Horse
  • Dynamic Theme
