With Infinity War leaving Marvel fans in a funk, there’s been a little ray of sunshine, promising fun in the future. While a release date hasn’t been confirmed, Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt has let slip that production on the third film will begin sometime next year.

When wishing Mantis actress Pom Klementieff a happy birthday on Instagram, Pratt commented that he “can’t wait to start shooting Guardians Vol.3 with her next year.”

From this it seems that Guardians Vol.3 will take one of Marvel Studios’ three 2020 spots, and while there’s nothing on the plot as yet, or how the team will look in the aftermath of Infinity War and its sequel, what we do know is that Adam Warlock (teased in the after-credits scene of Vol.2) will probably be in it.

More news of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 when we have it.
