Star of Downsizing, Hong Chau, is the latest actress to join the cast of HBO’s Watchmen series.

While the producers are keeping quiet about Chau’s role, as usual, Deadline who first reported the news have heard that she is playing Lady T., who is Vietnamese – as is Chau.

Written by Damon Lindelof, from the iconic limited series by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Watchmen is set in an alternate history where superheroes are treated as though they are outlaws. Lindelof’s TV adaptation is set to embrace the nostalgia of its ground-breaking source material, while also attempting to break new ground.

Chau joins an already-impressive cast including Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Jean Smart and James Wolk.

More on HBO’s Watchmen when we have it, until then, the show’s Instagram account is uploading cryptic videos which you can check out here.
