Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is due to launch August 8 on PlayStation 4 and Steam. In preparation, developer Ninja Theory have released an Official Trailer and detailed the game’s support for Ps4 Pro.

The trailer, which you can watch below, offers another glimpse into the cerebral and nightmarish world which the titular protagonist will have to battle through. The game is quite frankly gorgeous so it’s good to know it will run even better on PS4 Pro. Users will be able to run the game at a higher resolution or a higher framerate on the Pro. High-end PC owners will also have the option to play Hellblade with an uncapped frame rate and in resolutions up to 4K. The PC version will also support 21:9 ultra widescreen.

Also detailed is the inclusion of a photo -mode. Speaking in a blog post, Ninja Theory discussed what it would entail;

“We’ve provided various filters and tools for you to add your own personal touches to your favourite Hellblade moments, including camera pan and roll, focal distance, colour grading, and more.”

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice thrust players into the damaged mind of Senua, who must battle with the demons both inside and outside of her head across a Viking landscape.
