Elastigirl take centre stage in a new teaser for the forthcoming Incredibles sequel, released during the 2018 Winter Olympics.

The first trailer for Incredibles 2 was released late last year, but it didn’t go into much detail about what we could expect from the sequel – though this didn’t stop it from breaking records as it quickly became the most-watched animated trailer ever. And thanks to the Winter Olympics, we’ve now gotten a better look at the new film.

This time, the teaser focuses on Parr family matriarch, Helen, a.k.a. Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter) and teases a little more of what the Parrs will face in the sequel.

Picking up almost exactly where the first film left off, we see the family facing The Underminer (John Ratzenberger), and a few choice shots of Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) back in action. However, with the introduction of the possibly villainous Winston Deavor (Bob Odenkirk), who’s looking to return superheroes to their former glory, Elastigirl once again steps out as a solo act, leaving Bob to look after the kids.

The trailer reaffirms the fun of the first film will be carried through to this one, and even though we still don’t know much about the plot, the Parr family are definitely back in action.

Incredibles 2 is set for release on June 15th in the US, and July 13th in the UK.
