One of the most exciting notes of the announcement was Loeb divulging an exciting new team up between two hard-hitting ladies in the TV Marvel Universe – Jessica Henwick’s Colleen Wing from Iron Fist and Simone Missick’s Misty Knight from Luke Cage. The characters already share a history in the comic-book-verse and it’ll be intriguing to see how this manifests on screen.

Mixed reviews for the first season sprouted speculation whether the series will, in fact, be carrying on. However, given that the other three members of the Defenders all have gotten second seasons to their respective solo shows, it is not surprising. Possible release dates will be around Luke Cage’s Season Two in mid to late 2018 or even 2019.

Iron Fist season one and Defenders season one promises to see through the first complete arc in Danny Rand’s (Finn Jones) story. We are eager to see how a confident, more well-versed Danny will behave and how he pursues his role as the Iron Fist.
