IT: Chapter Two is filling up its adult cast fast, as we rapidly approach the production start date.
Yesterday, we learned that the adult version of neurotic Eddie Kaspbrak will be played by Sinister and The Wire actor James Ransone, and today the identity of adult Stanley Uris has been revealed.
Variety has reported that the anxious Stanley Uris will be played by Andy Bean, best known for his roles in Starz’ Power, and Divergent: Allegiant. Wyatt Oleff played the young version of the character, and arguably was the one who had the worst experience with Pennywise, and while Bean wasn’t one of fans fantasy picks, as with Ransone, he bears a clear resemblance to his young counterpart, eye colour aside:
Fans of the Stephen King novel will know that Stanley isn’t as predominantly featured in the second half of the story, however his adult counterpart has a crucial role in the plot.
There’s still two Losers left to cast: Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Ray Taylor) and Mike Hanlon (Chosen Jacobs), but this cast is shaping up well.
IT: Chapter Two hits theatres on September 6th, 2019.
