It’s been over a decade since we first met the Parr family, and now, the wait for a sequel is soon to be over, as The Incredibles 2 has released its first teaser.

The sequel to Pixar’s 2004 superhero family film will bring back the Parr family, picking up immediately after the end of the first movie.

This teaser tells us one thing for sure – raising a superbaby is dangerous work. At the end of The Incredibles, villain Syndrome kidnapped baby Jack-Jack, which turned out to be a huge mistake, as the full spectrum of the child’s powers began to manifest. Normal babies are destructive enough, but in this teaser, we see just how much havoc they can wreak with superpowers like Jack-Jack’s.

Disney announced the sequel back in 2015, which originally scheduled the release for 2019, however, last year they moved it up to 2018. Clearly, they know just how excited we are to see this.

The company showed off some early footage of the sequel earlier this year at D23, where director Brad Bird commented on the fact that advances in animation technology has meant they have been able to revisit the characters, making them more realistic and expressive.

The Incredibles 2 is slated to hit theatres on June 15th, 2018.
