The cast list is filling out.
Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World threequel has added Venom and Midnight Special actor Scott Haze to the upcoming feature.
Haze joins the Colin Trevorrow-directed film which while bringing back Jurassic World cast members Pratt and Howard, is set to bring back stars of the original Jurassic Park franchise, including Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum. The upcoming film has also added DeWanda Wise, Dichen Lachman and Mamoudou Athie to its ever-expanding cast.
To whet the appetites of fans, Trevorrow released a short film teaser last year, Battle at Big Rock, which saw dinosaurs running amok following their release at the end of Fallen Kingdom. Check it out below:
Trevorrow has written the screenplay for Jurassic World 3 with Emily Carmichael, from a story by Derek Connolly and Trevorrow, who previously worked on the stories for Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom.
Trevorrow has previously teased that this film – which doesn’t yet have an official title – will be more in line with the original Jurassic Park film, due to it not focusing on genetically modified dinosaurs.
Haze can next be seen in the Guillermo del Toro-produced and Scott Cooper-directed mystery/horror Antlers, alongside Jesse Plemons and Keri Russell.
Jurassic World 3 is currently slate for release on June 11th, 2021.
