Fans frequently find themselves involved in heated Marvel vs. DC debates, but it seems the stars of Justice League want to see the divided fanbase come together.

“Y’know, I don’t own Marvel or DC,” Ben Affleck said in an interview with Channel NewsAsia, “So I’m not in any position to … but I think it would be great. I’m sure, if it could be successful for everybody, people would like to do it. I don’t see why not; it’s a great idea.”

Co-stars Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill and Jason Momoa agreed, with the latter adding a, “Hell, yeah.”

“Hemsworth? I love him,” Momoa continued, “And to be next to Thor, or even be next to Hulk and be like [looks up], and to just get whacked by him? I’d be like, ‘Ohhh, I’m gonna take you underwater and drown your ass.’ […] It’d be fun.”

However, life-long DC Comics fan, and Cyborg himself, Ray Fisher, was a little more sceptical about the idea. “I think, you know, to put it all together, you don’t want it to take this kind of homogenized sort of tone, either. I would love to see some of these characters fight one another, that’d be really interesting to see, but you also want to make sure you maintain your own style and integrity.”

Justice League opens on November 17th.
