New York Comic Con has announced that its first evening will kick off with a panel featuring Keanu Reeves and the team behind new sci-fi thriller, Replicas, which will also star Silicoln Valley’s Thomas Middleditch, and Star Trek Into Darkness’ Alice Eve.
In addition to starring, Reeves has produced the film with producing partner with Stephen Hamel, and producer of the Transformers franchise Lorenze di Bonaventura. Replicas is written by Chad St. John (London Has Fallen) from a story by Hamel and directed by Day After Tomorrow’s Jeffrey Nachmanoff and is currently in post-production.
A story of a scientist (Reeves) who loses his family in a horrific accident, Replicas follows him as he tries to bring his children back to life using cutting-edge cloning technology.
Reeves, Hamel, Nachmanoff and other special guests will appear at New York Comic Con on Thursday October 5th from 6:30pm – 7:30pm, to discuss the film and its production, screening scenes from Replicas for the first time publicly.
