Last year we got teased with a still from the sequel to Matthew Vaughn‘s adaptation of the Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons‘ comic ‘The Secret Service‘, Kingsman: The Golden Circle. It heavily suggested that Harry Hart, the smooth secret agent Kingsman and mentor to ‘Eggsy‘ was indeed not as dead as we were lead to believe. After a fight fueled by bloodlust in the first movie that allegedly saw his point blank demise you can’t blame us if we are a little curious about how this is possible? It was defining moment in the film for its action style and killer instinct but also because we knew that devotees of Lynyrd Skynyrd would never be able to hear Freebird in the same way again.
And now, spinning out of Comic Con International San Diego, we have a second trailer for the upcoming sequel. So here it is:
Joining Eggsy on this adventure and returning to fray is Mark Strong as the tech-at-arms Merlin, and Sophie Cookson as the successor to the Lancelot mantle, yet this time it would see the British spy group head over to the pond and join their US counterparts, the Statesmen, to in defeating the head of criminal organisation ‘The Golden Circle‘.
From the look of this trailer it appears that we will getting a whole lot more of the entertaining action-cool scenes we had the first time around and we cannot wait for it.
Look forward to our forthcoming review of Kingsmen: The Golden Circle when it is released 22nd September 2017.
