Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Professor Layton series, Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy was released for mobile July 20, but is now returning to its Nintendo handheld roots on October 6th.

The game features Professor Layton’s daughter, Katrielle, as she sets up an agency in London and searches for her missing father. Solving cases and puzzles across 12 unique chapters, with bonus puzzles offered daily, players tackle all manner of logic based conundrum alongside a cast of quirky, colourful characters and pun-laden dialogue.

This is a great return for the series and the best way to celebrate a franchise that drew in players of all ages upon its outset on the DS, the game being available for both mobile and handheld systems allows far more people to play than ever before. So whether you’re a devout Layton lover, dropped off somewhere and would like to rediscover the series or simply love puzzle games, Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy is taking the series home in another whimsical installment of sleuth based puzzle solving .
