Alum from Veep and The Goldbergs join Patton Oswalt
Hulu’s upcoming Marvel animated series, M.O.D.O.K. has added a number of new voices to its cast, currently led by Patton Oswalt.
Sam Richardson (Veep), Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs), Ben Schwartz (House of Lies), and Aimee Garcia (Lucifer) are among the cast added to the animated supervillain sitcom. Oswalt, who is also executive producer, will star as the oft-foiled Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, the adult comedy will debut this year on Hulu.
Announced in February last year as part of a multi-series rollout for the streamer, M.O.D.O.K. follows the incredibly dysfunctional home life of the ex-A.I.M. member who made his appearance in Marvel Comics back in 1967.
The series will follow the megalomaniacal supervillain M.O.D.O.K. (Oswalt) who has pursued his dream of conquering the world his entire life. However, after years of failures fighting Earth’s mightiest heroes, he has run evil organisation A.I.M. into the ground, leaving him ousted as leader and dealing with his deteriorating marriage and family life.
In addition to Garcia, McLendon-Covey, Richardson and Shwartz, new cast members include Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live), and Jon Daly (Curb Your Enthusiasm).

Executive producer and showrunner Jordan Blum said of the additions to the cast, “I’m blown away by our insanely talented and hilarious voice cast, who have all brought their specific kind of magic to this weird and wonderful corner of the Marvel Universe.”
Marvel TV Studios SVP of Original Programming and Production, Karim Zreik added, “Patton and Jordan have done a phenomenal job in laying the groundwork for this exceptional ensemble. We’re thrilled to include this cast in the Marvel family.”
