Presumably it ends with them going home.

The upcoming third season of Marvel’s Runaways will be the last, as Hulu is bringing the Marvel series to an end.

Fans of the show shouldn’t be alarmed that there will be an abrupt ending without closure, however, as the story of the Runaways is said to come to a natural end in the third season, which is a small comfort.

In Season 3, the Runaways are frantically searching for their captured friends Chase (Greg Sulkin), Gert (Ariela Barer), and Karolina (Virginia Gardner). This journey will see the kids go head-to-head with an unstoppable enemy who has targeted Leslie (Annie Wersching) – or to be more accurate, the child she is currently carrying. Drawn into a dark realm by Nico (Lyrica Okano), they meet its ruler, Morgan le Fay (Elizabeth Hurley) who is far more nefarious than anyone the group have faced before.

With Runaways coming to an end, Marvel’s remaining projects at Hulu include the upcoming live-action series, Helstrom, as well as four connected animated series set to roll out in 2020: Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, Marvel’s Tigra & Dazzler Show, and Marvel’s Howard the Duck. These animations will culminate in a special event, Marvel’s The Offenders.

Marvel’s Runaways premieres its final season on Hulu on December 13th.
