Netflix has set the official premiere date for Matt Groening’s upcoming adult animated fantasy series, Disenchantment.

Taking place in the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, Disenchantment follows the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess, Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon, Luci. Through their adventures, the group encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and a whole lot of weird and wonderful humans.

The series features the voice talents of Abbi Jacobson as Bean, Nat Faxon as Elfo, and Eric Andre as Luci. It also features some Groening favourites, like John DiMaggio, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille and David Herman, as well as newcomers to the Groening-verse, Matt Berry, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, Noel Fielding, and Lucy Montgomery.

The show’s animation is coming from the talent behind Futurama, Rough Draft Studios. And Netflix also released some first-look images of the series, which you can see below:

P.S. How much does Elfo look like a Treehouse of Horror version of Bart Simpson?

The first 10 episodes of Disenchantment will debut on Netflix on August 17th.
