Just when you thought that Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was full to the brim, it has been announced that Inhumans star Mike Moh has been cast as Bruce Lee.
Like Lee, Moh is also an actor who is proficient in martial arts, and it has been clear in the past just how much of an influence the late star has had on Moh, who shared a tribute video to Lee in 2015, in which he performs some of the actor’s most famous moves and stunts.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is packed with big names, and has been described as “a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbour…Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie).”
There’s no news yet on how Bruce Lee will fit into the story, or just how big of a part he will play, but it’s certainly exciting to see another famous face will be making an appearance in the story.
