In an email sent out to subscribers, Sony have revealed that prices for their online service PlayStation Plus will be going up in August. The price increase will hit Australia and Europe with the service costing  £50 / €60 / AU $80 from August 31.

This signals a rise of £10/ AU $10/ €10 for players looking to play games online and have access to the free games which are offered each month. The price of the service was last raised in the UK back in 2015, the US price was increased in September 2016.

PS Plus launched in 2010 and offers players access to online play and a free collection of games each month. There are also exclusive discounts offered to PS Plus users which are updated regularly. You can check out the free games for PS Plus for August 2017, which included Just Cause 3, here.
