Vulture has revealed that Nick Fury and Maria Hill will be appearing in Spider-Man: Far From Home, alongside Tom Holland’s web-slinger.
Next year is shaping up to be Samuel L. Jackson’s busiest Marvel year yet, as while probably featuring in some way in Avengers 4, Jackson will also play a big part in Captain Marvel opposite Brie Larson, as a binocular Fury in the 1990s. And now, along with these appearances, Jackson will share the screen with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker for the very first time.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will also feature Fury’s right-hand woman, Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) who will no doubt join her boss in trying to keep the reckless teen Avenger under wraps.
The Spider-Man sequel has already begun shooting in London, and adds Jackson and Smulders to a cast that includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for release on July 5th, 2019.
