Everyone loves Baymax, the cute and cuddly healthcare assistant, but at Disney Channel’s Big Hero 6: The Series panel, they set out to challenge people’s love by introducing a smaller, even more charismatic, and possibly cuter inflatable health robot, Mini-Max.
The cast and creators of the series unveiled the new mini addition to the superhero team during their first-ever SDCC panel. Executive producers Mark McCorkle, Bob Schooley, and Nick Filippi introduced the unexpected character in the clip below:
The miniature robot who has been invented by Hiro (Ryan Potter) as a companion to Fred (Brooks Whelan) to be both his supervisor and sidekick, while the rest of the Big Hero 6 team are busy in their classes.
Voiced by Pitch Perfect’s John Michael Higgins, Mini-Max will make his debut in the August episode of the same name.
However, the teases didn’t stop here, as the team also gave fans a teaser of an upcoming episode “Fan Friction” which sees the team reimagined in adorable chibi style:
