In a first-look sizzle reel of the upcoming seventeenth season of Family Guy, released at the show’s SDCC panel, there’s a whole lot of pop culture nods guaranteed to tickle your funny bone.

To tease just a few, we see Peter channel Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct, the Griffin patriarch gets his own Netflix stand-up special, Kanye West massaging an Italian dish, a Stranger Things-themed fart joke, Brian’s bachelor party – and hilariously, we find out why Peter hates Seth MacFarlane’s other Fox series, The Orville.

During the panel, the show’s producers also revealed some of the big names heading to Quahog this season. Mandy Moore will voice Quagmire’s daughter, who he is about to become aware of, Patrick Stewart returns to play a waterbear (as is Celtics player Kyrie Irving) in an episode that riffs on Honey I Shrunk the Kids, entitled “Big Trouble in Little Quahog.”

As well as this, Johnny Weir, Tara Lipinski, Sarah Paulson, and Sam Elliot will all voice themselves at various points in the season, and Bryan Cranston and Niecy Nash will play married couple Bert and Shelia, who are Peter’s new bosses at the brewery. Bert and Shelia replace Angela, who was voiced by the late Carrie Fisher.

As always, Family Guy is set to push boundaries this season, as they plan to do an entire episode about Donald Trump and fake news, where Trump hires Peter to work as his White House Communications Director – EW breaks it down here.

We can’t wait to read the tweet about this one.

Family Guy returns on September 30th.
