At their SDCC panel, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow announced that we will be seeing two new faces join the crew of the Waverider in Season 4 of the Arrowverse series.
Santa Clarita Diet star Ramona Young will join the cast in the series regular role of Alaska Yu, a twentysomething easily swept up by fantasy novels and romantic notions who is also something of an expert in the world of magical creatures that the Legends encounter in the coming season. In the company of the Legends team she learns to pull her head from the clouds and become a superhero.
Also joining the series is Back to the Future star Tom Wilson in the recurring role of Hank Heywood. Hank is the charming and charismatic father of Nick Zano’s Nate Heywood, and like most of the family, Hank has spent a lifetime serving his country as part of the military and the Department of Defence. His appearance will mean that Nate begins to feel as though he has big shoes to fill, while also fighting to keep his Legends identity a secret.
It’s not only new faces coming to Legends in Season 4, as some familiar faces will make a return. Matt Ryan (John Constantine), Jes Macallan (Ava Sharpe), and Courtney Ford (Nora Darhk) have also been announced to be returning to Legends of Tomorrow.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return on October 22nd.
