The trailer for the new animated series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has arrived, straight from SDCC.

Nickelodeon’s new 2D animated series, centring around the four crime-fighting turtle brothers with ninja training offers up something a little different than we’ve seen before, as the brothers will “encounters absurd mutants and battle bizarre villains, each with their own motivations” as well as us seeing them “discover a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City.”

The new series features an impressive voice cast, including Omar Miller as Raphael, Ben Schwartz as Leonardo, Josh Brener as Donatello, Brandon Mychal Smith as Michelangelo, Kat Graham as the first African American April O’Neil, Eric Bauza as Splinter, and John Cena as villain Baron Draxum.

The guest stars are arguably more impressive, as they include the likes of Game of ThronesLena Headey, Sex Pistols frontman John Rotten Lydon, Futurama alum Maurice LaMarche and many, many more.
