Sony is bringing all the Spider-Man action to Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

Extensive footage of both Venom and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was recently shown at April’s CinemaCon, and fans can expect to see more at the world’s biggest comic con next month.

Ruben Fleischer’s Venom stars Tom Hardy as investigative journalist Eddie Brock, who becomes the unwilling host of an alien symbiote, and finds himself up against evil scientist Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed).

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes from The LEGO Movie’s Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and is a unique animated take on Spider-Man, where more than one person claims the identity, centring around Brooklyn teen Miles Morales.

While Marvel Studios isn’t making an appearing at Hall H this year, Sony’s bulk of Spider-Man properties would welcome an appearance from Spidey himself, Tom Holland – perhaps to tease an appearance in Venom?

Nerdist’s Jessica Chobot will moderate the panels which will take place on Friday, July 20th.
