Spider-Man: Far From Home has wrapped filming, and to celebrate, star Tom Holland shared some pictures from the set, showing off the hero’s suit in the latest instalment.
While Peter Parker might be going Far From Home in the Homecoming sequel, but stars Tom Holland and Zendaya headed back to New York for the final days of filming on the Marvel project.
Holland revealed that it was “a wrap” on principal photography for the Spider-Man sequel, by sharing some photos of his hero in action – and with so many photos leaking from the set, for once the Peter Parker acting wasn’t spoiling anything.
While the new suit appears to be darker than the one worn in Homecoming, this may not be the final product, as the costume has been CGI-ed in postproduction before now. However, it’s likely to be the final product, as it doesn’t appear to have the coloured dots on it which generally denote that it will be subject to digital editing later on.
Specific details of the plot are still under wraps, as is usual with Marvel, but we do know that Far From Home will take place after the events of Avengers 4, seemingly making it clear that Peter Parker will return from the dust. Also, set videos have seemed to confirm that Jake Gyllenhaal will indeed be in the film as Spider-Man villain, Mysterio.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for release on July 5th, 2019.
