Image & Form have announced that SteamWorld Dig 2 will make its way to PlayStation 4 AND Vita on September 26. This means that the game arrives a few days after it debuts on Switch.
It’s great to see a developer still showing its support for Vita and also offering the two versions as Cross-buy titles. They also took to the PlayStation blog to give some more details on the game.As well as highlighting the new protagonist, the dev also outline the game’s much larger world and upgrade system. Interestingly, the new protagonist Dorothy will not be alone in her endeavours. Throughout the game, players will encounter new companions who will either help or hinder the adventure.
There’s also a PC version to get your hands on set to launch “A few days after the Switch version”. Watch the Gamescom gameplay trailer below:
