Image & Form have just announced SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch. The game will release in December 28 and bundles together the original game along with all previously released DLC.

The team recently released SteamWorld Dig 2 on the Switch (read our review here) which shares the same art-style and universe as the other games in the series. They plan to continue their support of the Switch, outlining future plans in an episode of their YouTube show, The Engine Room (watch below).

SteamWorld Heist came to 3DS back in 2015 and features strategy action gameplay as well as zany steampunk characters. For the first time ever on a console, you can play the entirety using touch controls. Speaking on the success of the Nintendo Switch in their latest show, developers Julian and Brjann revealed that SteamWorld Dig 2 was “the most successful game launch we’ve had yet”.

SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition will contain the base game, two hat packs and the Outsider Campaign which features an additional playable character. The game will be released digitally and will cost $19.99.
