A pivotal role in the crossover
In the DC Comics world, Detective Corrigan is the human host for the Spectre, a powerful entity who is the embodiment of God’s wrath and whose purpose is to seek vengeance for evil. The character had a pivotal role in George Pérez and Marv Wolfman’s Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book crossover event, which had the Spectre go head-to-head with big bad the Anti-Monitor.
However, it is currently unclear as to whether the character will have the same role in the CW crossover, or whether we will see Lobo suit up as the Spectre.
Crisis on Infinite Earths is set to be quite the event. As well as all the familiar Arrowverse faces, Crisis will also star Black Lightning’s Cress Williams, Smallville’s Tom Welling and Erica Durance who will reprise their respective roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, Batman: The Animated Series’ Kevin Conroy who will finally play a live-action Bruce Wayne, and Ashley Scott who will reprise her Huntress role from 2002’s Birds of Prey.
Crisis on Infinite Earths begins with Supergirl on December 8th, followed by Batwoman on December 9th, and The Flash on December 10th. It will then take a break over the winter hiatus and conclude with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow on January 14th.
