The Stranger Things team are preparing for filming on Season 3 to begin, as a new teaser from Netflix has revealed.
The teaser has announced the start of production on the pop culture giant’s third season, and shows all of your favourites, including Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Charlie Heaton, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard and more, while also highlighting some of Hawkins’ new arrivals – such as Maya Thurman-Hawke (a mysterious new teen), Jake Busey (morally grey reporter Bruce) and ‘80s icon Cary Elwes (the town’s less-than-heroic mayor).
Season 3 is said to be moving ahead a year to the summer of 1985, drawing heavily on Back to the Future as an influence. This season’s production is expected to go smoothly, despite creators the Duffer Brothers having been involved in a number of skirmishes, including plagiarism lawsuits and allegations of on-set abuse.
Stranger Things 3 is expected to premiere in 2019, but stay tuned for more news.
