Well, we had a feeling this is coming – Activision just announced Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, 13th (possibly, while there’s also hand-held console and mobile games as well) main installment of this extravagant franchise.

Infinity Ward studio, developers behind “Warfare” series, said that this time “they are going to return to the roots of the franchise where large-scale war and cinematic, immersive military storytelling take center stage.” We will see about that when the game releases this November for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4… So far, it seems like they are working on their promise, as trailer shows space combat while David Bowie’s Major Tom is playing in the background. Pretty neat, huh? Go and watch it yourself:

Despite Infinity Ward’s interesting and “truly shocking” choice for their next game’s title we all have seen coming (after Modern Warfare 1, 2 & 3 and Advanced Warfare), it’s going to be the first time when they’re going to include zombie mode in “Warfare” series game. Even if we fought zombies in space before, this is still good news for the living dead lovers.

Incase you’ve skipped the ending of the trailer, Activision is offering you to pre-order Legacy Edition which includes… Wait for it – Call of Duty 4 Remastered with 10 multiplayer maps! One of the most beloved game of the whole franchise with sharper graphics will come alive again to show where it all began… Excited? You should be.

As we’re thrilled to see how the multiplayer will look since they’ve shown us space combat, we are also really eager to see what else Call of Duty can offer us after Infinite Warfare – from WWII to spaceships fighting in space…
