From the creators of the  free-to-play sci-fi ninja shooter Warframe, Digital Extremes have announced their new title The Amazing Eternals. Whilst similarly free-to-play, the game has a keen focus on deck building and card collecting; weapons, traps and power-ups make up a deck and can be deployed in any way you choose, affording players an entire world of options and playstyles.

Formerly known as Keystone, the game’s aesthetic pays loving homage to pulp genres with characters from all far flung directions of fiction. From 70s sci-fi astronauts, martians and monsters to fantasy heroins and spaghetti western cowgirls, throwing these iconic character tropes together is what sets The Amazing Eternals apart from other current hero shooters.

Having already had a closed alpha test over the summer, Digital Extremes is launching a Founders Program on August 29 allowing those interested to pay and gain instant access to the game with different packages and bonuses available on the same day. You can also register your interest here for free with the chance of gaining access to the Beta.

The Amazing Eternals has yet to be given a release date and so far, has only been announced for PC.
