Earlier than expected
It’s been a while since Westworld graced our TV screens, but fans won’t have to wait too much longer for Season 3 of the hit sci-fi series, as it will return on March 15th on HBO and the following day on Sky Atlantic.
That release date is a little earlier than expected, given that last season debuted in April of last year, many believed that that would be the case this time as well.
Despite there being three trailers out there for the third season, we know very little about what’s to come in Season 3. A new teaser was also released alongside the release date announcement, but this does not feature any footage from the show.
Returning cast members include Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, and Tessa Thompson, but Season 3 also has a number of new additions, namely Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, and Lena Waithe.
This season will see the story go beyond the main park, with co-showrunner Jonathan Nolan previously revealing, “We’re very excited about where the third season goes. It’s been a long build-up to get outside the park. And we’re incredibly excited about what that looks like and sounds like and what exactly our Hosts discover out there.”
Westworld returns on March 15th in the US, and March 16th in the UK.
